Just JunkN is a product of Problem SolvD Systems, LLC ("Problem SolvD", "we", "us"). Just JunkN is software that junk removal companies use to run their business: booking, estimates, scheduling, payments, email, texting, and more. This policy explains what information we collect through our website (justjunkn.com) and our app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Two kinds of information
Information about our customers. When a company signs up, we collect information about the company and the people who use the app, like names, email addresses, phone numbers, and billing details.
Information our customers put in the app. Companies use Just JunkN to keep records about their own customers and employees, like customer names, addresses, job details, photos, and messages. The company decides what to collect and controls that information; we store and process it for them. If you're a customer of a junk removal company that uses Just JunkN, please contact that company first about your information. We'll help them answer your request.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone number, company name, and role.
- Business records: customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, schedules, expenses, notes, photos, and documents entered in the app.
- Messages: texts and emails sent and received through the app, and, when a company turns them on, call recordings and voicemails.
- Location: the location of a device when someone clocks in or out, and, only if a company turns on employee locations, the location of employees' devices while they are clocked in with the app open. Employees see a notice in the app while their location is shared.
- Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store full card or bank account numbers.
- Website contact form: the name, email, phone, company, and message you send us.
- Technical information: sign-in records, the device and browser used, and error reports that help us fix problems.
How we use it
- To provide the app and its features, and to keep each company's data separate and secure.
- To send messages a company asks the app to send, such as appointment reminders, estimates, invoices, and receipts.
- To bill companies for their subscriptions.
- To answer questions, provide support, and tell account owners about important changes to the service.
- To find and fix errors and prevent abuse.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Text messages and phone numbers
Mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent are used only to send the messages people agreed to receive. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages. You can reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. See our Texting Terms.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Service providers that host and operate parts of Just JunkN for us: Supabase (database and file storage), Netlify (website and app hosting), Stripe (payments), Twilio and Twilio SendGrid (texts, calls, and email), and Google (maps and address lookup). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- Within a company: people in the same company can see information according to the roles and permissions the company sets.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our users or others.
- If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
Cookies
The app uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember settings like the menu you chose. Our website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts on our website load from Google Fonts.
How long we keep it
We keep information while the company's account is active. Employee location history is kept for 30 days. Encrypted backups are kept for 30 days. When a company closes its account, we delete its information within a reasonable time unless we must keep it longer by law, for example billing records.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit, each company's data is walled off from every other company's, access is limited by role, sign-in can require a code sent by text, and the database is backed up nightly in encrypted form. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected customers of a breach as required by law.
Your choices
- You can view and update your account information in the app.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by contacting us. If your information was entered by a junk removal company, we'll pass your request to them.
- You can stop texts by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in each one.
Children
Just JunkN is for businesses and isn't meant for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make important changes, we'll post the new version here and tell account owners.
